What affects the cost of a transfer? The honest list
A private transfer to North Cyprus starts from £100, with no hidden fees. The final figure depends on a handful of concrete things: which airport you land at (Larnaca or Ercan), where in the north you are going, how many of you there are and how much luggage, the time of day, and whether you need a return. We quote per journey rather than post one fixed number, because the honest price is the one that matches your actual trip.

It is a fair question, and most sites answer it with a form instead of a number. So here is the plain version: what moves the cost of a transfer from Larnaca or Ercan to your hotel in the north, and what stays the same whatever happens.
1. Which airport: Larnaca or Ercan
This is the biggest single factor. Larnaca (LCA) is in the south, so the journey is longer and crosses the Green Line — we handle the crossing for you, but it adds distance and time. Ercan (ECN) is in the north, so there is no border to cross and the drive to Kyrenia is short. If you have a choice of flights, our Larnaca vs Ercan guide weighs the trade-off in full.
2. Where in the north you are going
Distance drives the rest. Kyrenia and Nicosia sit closest to the crossing; Famagusta, İskele and the Bafra hotel zone are further along the coast, so those transfers cover more ground. The price follows the road, not a zone map — a door in central Kyrenia and a resort out on Long Beach are simply different distances.
3. How many of you, and how much luggage
Our vehicle is a Mercedes VIP Vito for up to 6 guests, so a couple and a family of six travel in the same car at the same price — you are booking the vehicle, not a seat. What can change things is extra luggage, a child seat, or a group larger than six that needs a second vehicle. Tell us in advance and we build it into the quote so nothing is a surprise at the door.
4. The time of day
A 3am landing and a midday one are not quite the same job. Very late-night and early-morning pickups can carry a small difference, but the flip side matters more: we track your flight, so if you land at 4am two hours late, your driver is still there with your name and nothing changes for you.
5. One-way or return
Most guests book the arrival first and add the return once they know their departure. A return is two journeys, but planning both together is simpler for everyone and lets us hold the same driver and vehicle for your trip home. Ask for a return when you book and we will price the pair.
Why no fixed-price list? Because an honest number depends on the airport, the destination and the details above. A single "all-in" figure either overcharges the short trips or hides a catch on the long ones. We would rather give you the real price for your journey — from £100, with no hidden fees.
| Factor | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Airport (Larnaca / Ercan) | Distance and whether a border crossing is involved |
| Destination in the north | Kyrenia and Nicosia are closest; Famagusta, İskele and Bafra are further |
| Passengers and luggage | Up to 6 travel at one price; extra luggage or a second vehicle can differ |
| Time of day | Very late-night or early pickups can carry a small difference |
| One-way or return | Booking both together is simpler and keeps the same driver |
Tell us the flight and the hotel. We'll price it.
Send us your airport, your destination in the north, and how many of you there are. We meet you at arrivals with your name, handle the crossing, and drive you to the door in one vehicle. Flight tracked, so a delay changes nothing.
What is always included
"No hidden fees" is only worth saying if it is specific. Here is what the price always carries, on every transfer:
- Meet & greet at arrivals, with your name on the board.
- Flight tracking, so a delayed or early landing costs you nothing.
- The border crossing handled for you on Larnaca journeys — one vehicle the whole way.
- Door to door to your hotel, not to a drop-off point.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
No meter, no negotiation at the roadside, no second car after the border. The figure we agree when you book is the figure you pay.
Distances and crossing details are drawn from the sources listed below; the crossing procedure follows official EU and TRNC guidance. Prices are quoted per journey and confirmed on booking.
Frequently asked
How much does a transfer from Larnaca to North Cyprus cost?
A private VIP transfer starts from £100, with no hidden fees. The exact figure depends on your destination in the north, the number of passengers and luggage, and the time of day. Send us your flight and hotel and we will quote your journey.
Do you have a fixed price?
We quote per journey rather than one fixed "all-in" number, because an honest price depends on the airport, the distance and the details. What we promise is a clear price agreed before you travel, from £100, with no hidden fees.
Is a private transfer cheaper than a taxi?
It is different rather than simply cheaper. A private transfer is one agreed price for the whole journey, door to door, with the crossing handled — no unmetered fare, no second vehicle after the border. For a group of up to six sharing one Vito, it is usually the better value as well as the easier option.
Is an Ercan transfer cheaper than a Larnaca one?
Often, yes, because Ercan is in the north and the drive is shorter with no crossing. Whether that suits you depends on your flights — our Larnaca vs Ercan guide compares the two airports in full.
Can I get a price for a return transfer?
Yes. A return is two journeys; booking both together is simpler and lets us keep the same driver and vehicle for your trip back to the airport. Ask for a return when you book and we will price the pair.
Your journey, your price. No surprises.
Tell us the airport, the hotel and how many of you there are. We'll be at arrivals with your name, cross the border in one vehicle, and take you to the door. From £100, no hidden fees.
